Fane M Tu'iha'angana started with Southseas Healthcare Trust in 2014. She was the coordinator for the elderly people program at the Methodist church Otara for many years.

Now, she is the Team Leader for the team and her previous role involved raising awareness of problem gambling and educating the community by sharing information about gambling services. Fane has a passion for serving people within the community, an amity which led her to this role in public health area. She also completed a degree; BA in Social Science, Certificate in Liaison Interpreting and Translation (AUT), Certificate in Financial Literacy Commission Capability, National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Level 4, New Zealand Certificate in Public Health and Health Promotion (Level 5 at MIT). And other small courses to help and upskill her knowledge on this role. She is originally from Tonga and speaks English and Tongan as well as beginner Samoan.
