Dr Michael Hutchinson

Qualifications: MPhys (Hons), BMBS, MRNZCGP

Michael was born in Nottingham, England and trained at the University of Nottingham Medical School before graduating in 2016. After two years working in the NHS in the UK, he moved to New Zealand with his partner in 2018 and worked as a house officer at Auckland and Waitemata DHBs, before completing 6 months as an adult rehabilitation/older people’s health registrar at Middlemore Hospital. He then started his GP training and has worked in Panmure, Three Kings and Mt. Eden, before moving to Southseas in September 2022. His interests in medicine include diabetes and child health, although he also loves the variety of general practice. His passions outside work include cooking, cycling, and spending time at the beach.
