An Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a recording of your heart's electrical activity. Electrode patches are attached to your skin to measure the electrical impulses given off by your heart, resulting in a trace that can be read by a doctor. It can give information of previous heart attacks or problems with the heart rhythm.
Wound care and dressing services provide expert medical assessment, cleaning, and bandage changes to help heal injuries safely.
The National Immunisation Schedule offers a series of vaccines free to babies, children, adolescents and adults. Our clinic offers immunisations that are given by a practice nurse or doctor. Babies are routinely immunised for tetanus, polio, whooping cough, diphtheria, hepatitis B and haemophilus influenza type B, which are now combined in one injection. Immunisation for measles, mumps and rubella are also provided in one injection.
Each child has his or her own document to keep a record of their injections. Under the age of 5 this is usually their Well Child book. Immunisation details are also recorded on the National Immunisation Register. This information system holds details of all immunisations given to children in NZ. The computer will alert families when immunisations are due.
The influenza, tuberculosis (TB), hepatitis A and meningococcal A, C, Y, W135 vaccines are each provided free for certain eligible groups but can be purchased by other people if they want them. Chicken pox and rotavirus are also available but since these carry no government subsidy people have to pay for them. Reactions to immunisation are increasingly extremely rare following improvements in vaccine research and production.

We provide a range of clinical services including GP consultation, nurse consultation, diabetic care, flu vaccination, and so on.

Liquid nitrogen is a fast, effective treatment provided to treat viral warts, sun damaged skin, skin tags and many benign cosmetic lesions. It is usually applied by swab or spray, and often one treatment is all that is needed but sometimes it may need repeating after two weeks.
HPV swab service is a quick, gentle test that checks vaginal cells for high-risk strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV).
Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps to keep your nerves and blood cells healthy.
Depo Provera contains a hormone that prevents pregnancy.
Medical assessments which are required as part of the New Zealand Driver's Licence Medical.
A cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk assessment and review service evaluates a patient’s chance of developing heart or blood vessel problems.
Smoking Cessation Services provide free, personalised coaching, practical quit plans, and access to funded stop-smoking medications to help you quit smoking.

Our enrolled patient fees for a standard 15 minute appointment are $0 for under 14’s. If a longer appointment is needed, please talk to our receptionist.
