The South Seas Healthcare Youth Arm also known as Bubblegum is dedicated to providing safe spaces, opportunities, experiences, academic and wellbeing support for Maori and Pacific rangatahi. It is a Youth Led space and we take a by youth, for youth approach. We prioritize the need and development of our young people. We have a variety of services available and a great team who are ready to support you!

Their passion and enthusiasm for making a difference was truly inspiring. Together, we explored the art of storytelling, shared our experiences, and engaged in thought-provoking discussions that left us in awe of their incredible potential. MYSTORY 🐚 The marathon continues 🏁 Our team are proud to be delivering the MYSTORY workshop to young leaders across Tamaki Makaurau 🤩 It was awesome having our first Waitakere group at the Bubblegum Youth Hub. Connecting with peers through shared stories and mastering the art of communication. Through storytelling, young leaders can create a shared sense of purpose, motivate each other, and drive positive change. In essence, storytelling serves as a bridge, connecting individuals on a deeper level and empowering them to collaborate towards common goals.🫡🤝 We have some available dates from April 2024 onwards. To serve our community effectively and provide the best service, we must be able to work as a team 👏🏽🤝 Team Building kicked off with our usual Check Ins, then we headed straight to the kitchen for the Bubblegum Bake Off where staff were challenged to work as a team to create and sell the best dessert in Otara 🧑‍🍳🧁 Activity 2 was all about embracing teamwork and creativity through a Paint Out Loud activity 🖌️✨ Then we ended the day off with a movie. Strengthening bonds to achieve goals together! 🫡 #LetsStickTogether

The answer is … YES 🥳 It doesn’t matter if you’ve missed previous sessions, our team are prepared to catch you up either online or in person 🤝 Our Bubblegum Family Zone is also available during the session, it is a supervised zone so bring along your children or the whole aiga 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There are fanau packages that participants can collect along the way to celebrate all the learnings, achievements and connections made but also support your children’s educational journey. MYSTORY Employment Assistance Programme

We are pleased to announce the launch of the MYSTORY Employment Assistance Programme, developed by South Seas Healthcare Trust and proudly delivered by our Bubblegum team.

This three-month initiative is designed to support Tama’ita’i Samoa aged 18–24 years, living in South Auckland, who are currently seeking employment. The programme offers tailored guidance to help young women prepare for and access meaningful job opportunities.

Guided by the tagline, “Success begins with your story,” the MYSTORY programme recognises the unique journey of each participant and aims to empower them toward long-term employment and personal growth.
